About Me

David Savage, Instructor

Drive Safe was established in 2006 by myself, David Savage. I am a fully qualified Department of the Environment Approved Driving Instructor, (DOE ADI) - ADI number 1877.

I am committed to providing a high standard of structured driving tuition in a comfortable environment and aim to make learning to drive an enjoyable and relatively stress free experience.

The Car

I am currently using a 2005 Citroën C2 Diesel, fitted with dual controls.

The C2 is very learner friendly with light pedals and power assisted steering, while the design provides good all round visibility making those all important manoeuvres that little bit easier.
